Jan 18,  · referencing Live Peace In Toronto , LP, Album, Jac, SW , SW I have this record, and as indicated by the "0" stamp in the runout on both sides, it would be a Jacksonville pressing. It came with the calendar, wirebound/5().

Live Peace in Toronto is a live album by the Plastic Ono Band, released in December on Apple infurternseceavil.sculbulseattlilasetdesugoononpoetran.coed at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival, it was the first live album released by any member of the Beatles separately or together. John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono received a phone call from the festival's promoters John Brower and Kenny Walker, and then Genre: Rock and roll, avant-garde.

Recorded in September at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival concert, this really is a truly remarkable live album. The original vinyl had Lennon /Plastic Ono Band on side one and Yoko /POB on side 2. Yoko's material at this point in her career is an acquired taste and not my cup of tea at all/5(81).

The album documents John Lennon's first live performance apart from the Beatles. The original release included a calendar with photographs of John and Yoko. Some of the calendars were bound with wire, some were bound with plastic, while others were bound with a saddle staple/5().

"Give Peace a Chance" is an anti-war song written by John Lennon (credited to Lennon–McCartney), and performed with Yoko Ono in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Released as a single in July by the Plastic Ono Band on Apple Records (catalogue Apple 13 in the United Kingdom, Apple in the United States), it is the first solo single issued by Lennon, released while he was still a member of.

Live Peace in Toronto was recorded at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival held at Varsity Stadium, at the University of Toronto on 13 September John & Yoko were invited by promoters John Brower and Kenny Walker, and hastily assembled the Plastic Ono Band (Eric Clapton: guitar, Klaus Voormann: bass, and Alan White: drums) in time to play at the festival the following day.
